Donate a Toy to a Family in Need
Bring any new and unwrapped toy betweenNovember 1st and December 12th. The Marines will pick up the donations on December 13, 2013 to distribute to local children in need. The most in-demand toys are for children ages 0-2 and 12-13. The following are good toy donation suggestions:
- Educational toys
- Stuffed animals
- Books
- Action figures
- Costume jewelry
- Teething Rings
- Board Games
Toys For Tots needs a mixture of both boys and girls toys to fully service the community.
Shopping Tip
Save money when you go shopping and take advantage of two-for-one purchases. Buy two action figures at the same time, for example, and donate one to Toys For Tots. Thinking of others this time of year is the goal for both Toys For Tots and ServiceOne AC.
